Nighttime Fun in the Village

It's heartening to see how people can come together and find joy even in difficult circumstances. The 6.5 magnitude earthquake must have been a trying experience for everyone, but it's wonderful to see that the community is still finding ways to come together and enjoy each other's company.

Taking advantage of the brightness of the moon is a great idea. The light peeping through our window and seemingly invites me to watch over it. It's amazing how nature can provide us with so much beauty and light, even when our man-made sources of electricity fail us.  And it's heartening to see that people are taking advantage of this natural source of light to connect with each other and have fun. Some people loved to hang out by the bay and enjoyed a few drinks of coconut wine and grilled fish. Kids loved to play, run and walk while their parents chitchatted with their friends and started gossiping. It was an extraordinary night in the village I lived in.

It's also great to see that the fishermen are still able to provide fresh fish for the community, despite the challenges that the earthquake may have posed for them. It's a reminder of the resilience and resourcefulness of people, even in the face of adversity.

Overall, it's inspiring to see how the community is coming together to make the best of a difficult situation. It's a testament to the strength of human connection and the power of nature to provide us with what we need, even when our technological infrastructure fails us.
