I was relaxing for a while on the patio before the day came to an end. I could hear the noisy jeepneys and tricycles passing on the busy roadway. The birds flew by as they made their way home. It's a typical summer day in Quezon City, scorching hot as usual.
This picture serves as a sobering reminder that everything in life has its time and eventually comes to an end. The coconut tree may have stopped bearing fruit and providing shade, but it has left a mark on the neighborhood, and its memories will remain.
