On February 17, 2006 at exactly 10:36 a.m., a portion of Mount Kan-abag in Saint Bernard Southern Leyte collapsed and buried barangay Guinsaugon in over a hundred feet of mud and boulders the size of dump trucks.
I wasn't here the moment when the tragedy happened because we already moved in Manila. But we are still affected upon hearing the news on the television thinking that we might have a relatives and family friends in there.

And now the scars of yesterday are still there and will forever remain there. Survivors and the people nearby have moved on and keep on moving forward as they wake up from their nightmares. And even natures itself were also moving on. Trees and bushes start growing again and keep on hiding the scars from the tragic moment. Hence, whatever the tests throw to any living things neither human nor animals or even to the natures, still they stand up for a brighter beginning.
