Visiting the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation is included in our tour package from our hotel, Hannah’s Beach Resort. It is located in rocky coast of Burgos, the Northwestern Part of Ilocos Norte. And it is easy to find coz of it’s signage along highway in Burgos.
Kapurpurawan came from an Ilocano root word “puraw” which means “white” as the rock formation is indeed white. And it became one of a tourist attraction in Ilocos Norte because of its creamy white rocks which is naturally built by forces of water, current, air, and weather conditions.
As we walk on the way to the rock formation, the place offers us the peaceful & scenic view of rock formation from apart, the breath-taking view of the ocean, and the never-ending dance of waves through the plain rocky surface. But if you don’t like to walk in there, a horseback-riding is a good alternative. But i suggested that it is better to walk to captured the moments, to take a good shots in there.
